BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky first Kpop documentary on Netflix
Netflix announced their first Kpop documentary BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky, coming in October.
The documentary directed by Caroline Suh charts the meteoric rise of the South Korean superstar girl group.
The film interweaves exclusive interviews with never-before-seen footage of BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa, from their trainee days to the global sensations they are today.
BLINKS will get a first look into the recording process of the band’s follow up album which depicts the highs and lows of being a Kpop idol group.
Fans also get to see up close each member’s incredible talent that when combined creates the unique and electrifying DNA of BLACKPINK that we love.
The film culminates with BLACKPINK’s historic 2019 Coachella performance, where they were the first Kpop girl group to take the Coachella stage.

BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky will be released globally on 14 October 2020.
